Anagavera tequila is a traditional Mexican drink made from agave tequila that’s often flavored with cocoa.
You could make this one from scratch, too.
Combine agave syrup and cacao powder.
Add 2 tablespoons of agave, 1 tablespoon of cacao, and 2 teaspoons of water.
Heat agave in a saucepan over medium-high heat until boiling.
Add cacao and stir for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla bean.
Refrigerate for up to 4 days.
Use to flavor coffee, rum, or chocolate bars.
Notes If you’re a fan of tequila, this recipe will be a great replacement for a traditional chocolate bar.
